THÜROS Multiking – the barbecue with two grilling zones

A barbecue that combines two types of barbecuing: searing over real charcoal embers for the perfect barbecue taste and gentle cooking with the low-temperature cooking method. Preserve as many of the valuable elements of your food as possible.

Equipped with a stable professional grate support, you get a barbecuing result that will delight you. The strip material grate support means that less heat passes over the grill. So you grill on a hot plate, but there is no significant radiated heat above the food. The stability of the grill support is evident yet from its generous weight of 4.4 kg.

A gastronorm tray (GN1/1 or GN1/1-100) can be inserted in the lower part of the Multiking. This is also possible at 2 heights, so that you can cook gently or gratinate deliciously.

Warnings and Safety Instructions for Using Your Barbecue.

WARNING! The appliance becomes very hot and it should not be moved during operation!
WARNING! Surface can get hot!

WARNING! Danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. Do not operate the barbecue in closed rooms, only outdoors!
CAUTION! Do not use spirit or petrol for lighting or relighting!

CAUTION! Keep a distance of 1.50 m from other flammable objects.
Only use lighting aids that comply with DIN EN 1860-3!
Choose a fi rm horizontal installlation location. Put the charcoal (DIN 1860-2) only in the charcoal tray provided.
To light the charcoal use only TÜV-GS/DIN EN 1860-3 tested fire lighters. When using lighter fluid make sure it does not flow into the flue or out of the vents. Never add lighter fluid to a burning fire.
Before first use, preheat the BBQ for a few minutes without food and cooking grate so that any production residues can dissipate.
Do not use the ventilation slide without gloves.
Do not start grilling before the charcoal turned gray and reached the correct cooking temperature.

Tipp: Use less charcoal than with any conventional charcoal BBQs without a fl ue draught system. THÜROS® BBQs are truly economical BBQs and need considerably less fuel. Therefore, we recommend to use a high-quality charcoal.
