THÜROS Water Pan - for indirect barbecuing, for THÜROS T3 and THÜROS T4

The THÜROS Water pan (WS4260E) supports indirect barbecuing with the THÜROS T3 models, THÜROS T3 BBQ Station, THÜROS T4 models and THÜROS T4 BBQ Station.

It is filled with water and placed on the side or middle of the charcoal tray before adding the charcoal or briquettes. 

Indirect barbecuing benefits the grillables as it is not cooked directly over the embers. Because of the use of a hood, the food is cooked gentle from all sides simultaneously. This grilling method ensures juicier meat or food in general in comparison to barbecuing it direct.

Warnings and Safety Instructions for Using Your Barbecue.

  • WARNING! The appliance becomes very hot and it should not be moved during operation!
  • WARNING! Surface can get hot!
  • WARNING! Accessories can heat up.
  • WARNING! Danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. Do not operate the barbecue in closed rooms, only outdoors!
  • CAUTION! Do not use spirit or petrol for lighting or relighting!
  • WARNING! Keep children and pets away!
  • CAUTION! Accessory parts may become hot.
  • CAUTION! Keep a distance of 1.50 m from other flammable objects.
  • Only use lighting aids that comply with DIN EN 1860-3!
  • Choose a fi rm horizontal installlation location. Put the charcoal (DIN 1860-2) only in the charcoal tray provided.
  • To light the charcoal use only TÜV-GS/DIN EN 1860-3 tested fire lighters. When using lighter fluid make sure it does not flow into the flue or out of the vents. Never add lighter fluid to a burning fire.
  • Before first use, preheat the BBQ for a few minutes without food and cooking grate so that any production residues can dissipate.
  • Do not use the ventilation slide without gloves.
  • Do not start grilling before the charcoal turned gray and reached the correct cooking temperature.

Tipp: Use less charcoal than with any conventional charcoal BBQs without a fl ue draught system. THÜROS® BBQs are truly economical BBQs and need considerably less fuel. Therefore, we recommend to use a high-quality charcoal.
