THÜROS Drip pan for THÜROS T2
The THÜROS Drip pan is a further expansion level for indirect barbecuing on a spit. To prevent juices or marinades to drip into the charcoal or briquettes, the drip pan is placed under the rotisserie spit. Therefore, no flames or smoke can occur as all the liquids are collected in the drip pan.
It is used in combination with the THÜROS charcoal burner for lateral heat (KSCH3535), one of the THÜROS Spit options (meat clamps S3535EFK or skewers S3535EFH) as well as a THÜROS Motor for rotisserie (MA3560). To use the drip pan for a barbecue with the other rotisserie accessories, replace the cooking grate with the drip pan and fill it with water.

- Only use lighting aids that comply with DIN EN 1860-3!
- Choose a fi rm horizontal installlation location. Put the charcoal (DIN 1860-2) only in the charcoal tray provided.
- To light the charcoal use only TÜV-GS/DIN EN 1860-3 tested fire lighters. When using lighter fluid make sure it does not flow into the flue or out of the vents. Never add lighter fluid to a burning fire.
- Before first use, preheat the BBQ for a few minutes without food and cooking grate so that any production residues can dissipate.
- Do not use the ventilation slide without gloves.
- Do not start grilling before the charcoal turned gray and reached the correct cooking temperature.
Tipp: Use less charcoal than with any conventional charcoal BBQs without a fl ue draught system. THÜROS® BBQs are truly economical BBQs and need considerably less fuel. Therefore, we recommend to use a high-quality charcoal.
