THÜROS Spit with x2 meat clamps for THÜROS T1, THÜROS minicater and THÜROS T2

The THÜROS Rotisserie Spit (S3535EFK) consists of a main spit and two meat clamps. It is recommended to use for barbecuing poultry as a whole or rolled roast.

To prepare the spit, fix the first meat clamp on the main spit. After that, add the food. Depending on the type of food, this can be done by piercing through it or wrapping it around the spit. Secure the food by using the second meat clamp. Before mounting it on the spit, turn the meat clamp 90° to ensure that both clamps intertwine, especially when grilling smaller pieces of meat.

To use the rotisserie spit the suitable wind deflector for the main grill is required. In addition, a grill motor (MA3560) is needed to turn the spit.

  • Only use lighting aids that comply with DIN EN 1860-3!
  • Choose a fi rm horizontal installlation location. Put the charcoal (DIN 1860-2) only in the charcoal tray provided.
  • To light the charcoal use only TÜV-GS/DIN EN 1860-3 tested fire lighters. When using lighter fluid make sure it does not flow into the flue or out of the vents. Never add lighter fluid to a burning fire.
  • Before first use, preheat the BBQ for a few minutes without food and cooking grate so that any production residues can dissipate.
  • Do not use the ventilation slide without gloves.
  • Do not start grilling before the charcoal turned gray and reached the correct cooking temperature.

Tipp: Use less charcoal than with any conventional charcoal BBQs without a fl ue draught system. THÜROS® BBQs are truly economical BBQs and need considerably less fuel. Therefore, we recommend to use a high-quality charcoal.
