THÜROS Baikal Direct Plus – an all-rounder in barbecuing

Equipped with 6 shish kebab skewers and a grill support, it can be used for "normal" grilling as well as for preparing shish kebabs.

The attachment plate protects against wind and flying sparks. The skewers run in provided areas in the clip-on tray.

Each skewer has a screw thread that allows it to be turned smoothly and effortlessly through 360°.

The warming rack suspended in the clip-on tray can be used, for example, to keep ready-grilled food warm, to gently cook delicate grilled food or to heat up bread rolls.

The barbecuing surface is not enough for you? You want to prepare more skewers at the same time? Then simply expand your THÜROS Baikal with an additional grate support or 6 more skewers.

The interesting thing: It is not the grate support or the skewers that are adjusted in height, but the ember tray. Simply grasp both handles and move up or down.

The grill surface is approx. 30 x 30 cm per grate support. In addition, you get a handle so that you can easily take down the handle-free grill supports.

Only use lighting aids that comply with DIN EN 1860-3!
Choose a fi rm horizontal installlation location. Put the charcoal (DIN 1860-2) only in the charcoal tray provided.
To light the charcoal use only TÜV-GS/DIN EN 1860-3 tested fire lighters. When using lighter fluid make sure it does not flow into the flue or out of the vents. Never add lighter fluid to a burning fire.
Before first use, preheat the BBQ for a few minutes without food and cooking grate so that any production residues can dissipate.
Do not use the ventilation slide without gloves.
Do not start grilling before the charcoal turned gray and reached the correct cooking temperature.

Tipp: Use less charcoal than with any conventional charcoal BBQs without a fl ue draught system. THÜROS® BBQs are truly economical BBQs and need considerably less fuel. Therefore, we recommend to use a high-quality charcoal.
